This is a sketch I did of Erik playing his self-mocking “Don Juan Triumphant”.
This started off as a big pencil sketch on textured paper. It looks a lot better now that it’s sized down and had some photoshop work done to it.
I hope you all like it. I know that it’s not the sexy Gerard Butler phantom, but I like to try to be true to the original story.

That's beautiful. I love how the light emanates from the violin strings, and his expression. The shading on his suit is great... ahh, I love this!

Ohmigosh. This is amazing! His face is very well drawn! And his Don Juan Triumphant is self-mocking! Thank you! Anyway, I just happened upon this link and decided to tell you how grateful I am that SOMEONE draws REAL Erik fandrawings. No Gerik or anything crazy like that. True Erik! [although, admittedly, his hands aren't quite as skeletal as i've imagined...but that's okay! he has no face!] So yes, thank you!

thank you so much! I'm glad that there are a few other Leroux phantom fans out there! It means a lot to me to hear that people like my drawings. ^_^
(I agree with you on the hands. I had a lot of trouble with those. I just have no idea how someone is supposed to hold a violin! ^_^' I need to find some better photo refs for my next drawing!)
