Ok, Ok, I know.... It's not the normal Phantom of the Opera look. I wanted to try something different since it's over the Susan Kay version of the story. I wanted to make it look kind of like a circus "freak show" poster since Erik was a sideshow at one of those. It really messed him up badly and gave him a phobia of cages. I intended to make the floor look more like a pool of blood to represent that his first murder was to escape from the fair... (I wish I could have gotten the reflections in there that I wanted...*sigh*)
Anyway, the masks... welllll I really don't think I need to go into the symbolism of the masks...
All, in all, i guess it was worth the time it took to draw it. I just hope that you guys like it! ^_^

Susan Kay really is amazing. You did a beautiful job. I HATE reading books I cant stand it but Phantom I have read 8-10 times (and I am a REALLY slow reader because I like to read it as if you were reading it to someone) well...I dont hate books as much as I say I am just a teenager and cant help my self.
